The new Millennium heralded the opening of KM’s most successful store to date. This store (KM3) is opened at McArthur Glen’s Cheshire Oaks, one of the premier designer outlets in the country.
KM undergoes a period of Company consolidation and Management restructure.
The company prospers as the KM retail model is tweaked and strengthened in this period. The directors work very closely with its retail staff to enhance its product offer and sales density.
DEC 1999 KM opens its second store (KM2) at Freeport Braintree in Essex. Prominently located the store area consists of 2200 sq ft.
SEP 1999 KM opens its first UK stand alone store (KM1) at Freeport Castleford near Leeds. The KM retail concept first conceived in 1988 is now ‘truly born’.
AUG 1999 Kurt Muller is incorporated and the board of directors are appointed
JUN 1997 KM opens its West End showroom at Great Titchfield Street in London.
